What does a WorldTour training environment actually look like?
For most riders, professional cycling can feel distant. We see the racing, the numbers, and the results, but rarely the process behind them. The daily habits, conversations and consistency.
From November 11–18, Team EF Coaching opens the door to that world with a multi-day training camp in Girona, Spain, with parts of the week run in conjunction with the EF Pro Cycling Team camp.
Opening the doors to a focused week designed to help athletes build momentum before winter training begins.
Build pre-season consistency
Consistency is the foundation of endurance performance.
For many cyclists, the biggest challenge is not motivation, but creating structure before winter training begins. The November camp helps athletes establish momentum early through daily riding, coaching support, and a focused training environment.
Our November cycling camp focuses on:
consistent riding
structured endurance training
coaching support
group riding dynamics
sustainable training habits
Instead of waiting until spring to rebuild fitness, riders leave Girona with a stronger aerobic base and clearer direction for the off-season.
Escape to the sun
Girona has become one of the world’s great cycling hubs for a reason.
Quiet roads, long climbs, smooth terrain, café culture, and mild weather make it one of the best places in Europe to train consistently through the winter months. Many EF Pro Cycling riders live and train here throughout the season, using the region not only for fitness, but for rhythm and routine.
For athletes joining the camp, the environment itself becomes part of the experience. Long endurance rides, beautiful roads, strong groups, and time spent around other motivated riders make training feel easier, more enjoyable, and more sustainable.
Learn from EF Pro Cycling
Perhaps the biggest difference between this camp and a traditional cycling camp is proximity.
Athletes spend the week around the Team EF Coaching environment: riding with experienced coaches, hearing stories from professional cycling, discussing training philosophy, recovery, racing, nutrition, and the realities of long-term progression in endurance sport.
The focus is not on pretending to be professionals. It is about understanding the principles that help athletes improve over time, regardless of level.
Inside professional cycling, performance is rarely built through shortcuts. It comes from consistency, curiosity, communication, and learning how to adapt training over months and years.
That is the environment this camp is designed to bring riders into.
Optional performance testing & bike bit
Athletes attending the camp will also have the opportunity to add optional performance services throughout the week, including metabolic testing and professional bike fitting.
The metabolic testing sessions are designed to give athletes a deeper understanding of their physiology, helping identify fueling needs, training zones, substrate utilization, and endurance efficiency. The goal is not simply more data, but clearer direction for training and performance moving into the winter season.
Testing helps athletes better understand:
Lactate thresholds
endurance zones
fueling demands
aerobic efficiency
training intensity
Rather than training on guesswork, riders leave camp with clearer insight into how their body responds to training and how to structure the winter ahead.
We also offer professional bike fitting sessions to help riders improve comfort, efficiency, and positioning on the bike. Small adjustments in position can make a significant difference over long training blocks and big volume weeks.
These services are optional add-ons and can be booked separately during camp registration.
More than a training camp
At its core, the November Girona camp is about creating momentum heading into the next season.
Good riding. Strong conversations. Better understanding of training and performance. Time spent around people who care deeply about the sport.
And perhaps most importantly, leaving Girona with renewed motivation for the months ahead.
Limited spots will be available for the November Team EF Coaching camp in Girona.
